Wow. Didn’t see this one coming! Adobe Acquires PhoneGap/Nitobi.
My reaction? Twitterverse is saying “Flash is Dead” but I think it’s more that Adobe wants to remain relevant, especially on the App Store, and what better way to do that than to acquire the one platform that allows for the quickest development to ALL the possible platforms.
Adobe has been on a buying spree of late, including the acquisition of CMS provider Day Software, 28th of October 2010.
