Hi, has anyone else had this issue? I’ve installed the following Windows Virtual Machines and none of them work (I get errors when trying to start all of these VM’s/op systems):
- Windows 7 from an install disc
- Windows XP from Microsoft’s free VM site
- Windows XP from my own XP install disc
And I get these errors (screenshots) when trying to Start the above VM’s:
Any help appreciated. I did get a helpful tweet from Microsoft but we’re still working this out, so leave any helpful tips in the comments below. Cheers!

Okay, thanks to @AaronM_NZ for the tip. I just had to reset the permissions to Read Write in the VM’s directory. *shakes fist at yet another permissions issue*.
