Louisa, Managing Director, had a good consulting business but no website, and after finding me on Twitter we met and decided it would be a good fit.
She wanted a fun site that emphasised her brand, and the color palette was already decided so we went with that. She wanted not the average every day fonts but more friendly, hand-written style.
Home Page
We went with the classic home page slider and I designed panels to match her branding and message, making sure to keep her “fox foot” motif in each slide. The navigation is simple and fun, designed to resemble the content loosely
About Us Page
The About Us page is the Urban Fox mission statement. The sidebar is introduced here and is kept brief on purpose; we just wanted keywords and the blog to show.
Services Page
In keeping with the friendly tone the Services page is meant to give a general idea of the marketing offerings without being too technical. Many of her clients are new to social media and digital marketing in general.
Resources Page
What is Marketing? Louisa answers this question and more on this page. The links in the sidebar reenforce her position and its details.
Blog
Marketing is powered by content and the blog serves this purpose. Louisa wanted to describe general concepts to get her clients thinking about what she can offer them. In a very subtle way this positions her as a teacher as well as a marketer.
Contact
In keeping with the simplicity of the website, the contact form asks for simply the basics so contact can be made.
